Philosophy
A curriculum is only as successful as a teacher’s ability to bring lessons to life in the classroom. Research indicates that professional development “yields the best results when it is long-term, school-based, collaborative, focused on students’ learning, and linked to curricula.” The UEE teacher training program is focused specifically on incorporating these five criteria.
UEE's Approach
UEE offers in-person and on-line teacher training services by expert professional developers. Services provided are customized for each school, the quantity and focus of which are designed with school leadership. Teacher trainers can support schools throughout the school year, and use the latest research and student assessments to support teachers in maximizing student achievement.
